Q: Can I use Bakuchiol Slip on oily skin?
Yes. Bakuchiol Slip is a lightweight oil that is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving behind any oily residue.
Q: I’ve never used facial oils before, how often should I use this Bakuchiol Slip?
Bakuchiol Slip can be used twice a day, during the day, and/or at night. However, we recommend consulting your dermatologist before introducing a new product to your skincare routine.
Q: Can I use Bakuchiol Slip in place of a moisturiser?
No. Bakuchiol Slip is not interchangeable with moisturiser. However, if it is used after applying moisturiser, it will help to maintain your skin’s hydration.
Q: Can I apply makeup on top of Bakuchiol Slip?
Yes. Apply a few drops of Bakuchiol Slip and allow it to completely absorb into your skin before applying your makeup.
Q: What is the difference between Bakuchiol Slip and Patchouli Glow?
Bakuchiol Slip is a luxurious face oil with repairing and reviving properties. Patchouli Glow SPF 40 PA+++ is a lightweight, broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Bakuchiol (bah.koo.chee.ole) is an extract derived from the seeds of the babchi plant (Psoralea corylifolia). It is a powerful antioxidant with origins in Chinese and Indian restorative medicine. As a popular plant-based, vegan alternative to retinol, it achieves similar results such as increasing cell turnover, stimulating collagen production and reducing hyperpigmentation while simultaneously soothing the skin. It does not increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun making it suitable for daytime use.
Squalane (skwa.la.n) is an emollient that mimics the skin’s ability to moisturise and repair itself, making it a very popular ingredient in skin and hair care. It is a more stable version of squalane, a naturally occurring component of sebum, the oily, waxy substance produced by the skin to protect the skin barrier and prevent water loss. Regular use of squalane is known to boost collagen production, leading to soft and supple skin.
